Inventing your favorite firmware tool

If you’re anything like me, you love to create, design, and invent the next coolest gadget. The thrill of bringing your ideas to reality is exciting and gives you a sense of accomplishment.

And although we typically strive to create a perfectly working design the first time, a very large portion of our day is spent chasing bugs and finding root causes and tweaking your design so that it behaves as expected.

This is the reason that I am inventing the ACTIVE Firmware Tools flagship product, the ACTIVE-Pro. During the debug cycle, we need to be able to see into the operation of our firmware and hardware design at a level that is not evident from the outside world. Often times the bugs root cause is not readily apparent by viewing the performance of the device. On the contrary, it is often times only your firmware’s execution that shows the breadcrumbs that are required to determine the root cause of your bug.
