Signal Generators

ACTIVE-Pro Digital Signal Generators

The ACTIVE-Pro has 2 Digital Signal Generators built in.  It outputs a digital voltage on the D0 and D1 signals out the side of the Active-Pro Firmware Debugger.

To specify what level is generated on each of the output signals, you use the section of the ACTIVE-Pro Control Panel as seen below:

Each of the digital lines can have one of the modes below by selecting the associated radio button:

●         Pulse Width Modulator

●         Logic High Level

●         Logic Low Level

The Logic Low level outputs 0V on the signal.

The Logic High level outputs 3.3V on the signal.

ACTIVE-Pro Analog Signal Generator

The ACTIVE-Pro has an Analog Signal Generator built in.  It outputs a voltage pattern on the A0 and A1 signals out the side of the Firmware Debugger.

To specify what waveform pattern is generated, you use the Analog Generator section of the ACTIVE-Pro Control Panel as seen above.

There are 5 types of analog signals that can be generated by selecting the associated radio button:

●         Sine

●         Triangle

●         Ramp

●         Square and

●         DC

You can also select the frequency generated by using the Steps setting.  The minimum and maximum voltages are also specified using the control from 0V to 3.0V.
